Frequently Asked Questions

Learn more about your helicopter flight

What should I wear?
We advise our customers to dress comfortably for their helicopter tour or flight session. Flat rubber-soled shoes are recommended for this aerial adventure. Hats are NOT allowed to be worn around the helicopters as they can fly up into the rotors and damage the aircraft. Any loose items will need to be secured before approaching the aircraft or can be left in the office.
Is there an age requirement?
All passengers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. A wavier will need to be signed for all passengers prior to the flight.
How early should I arrive for my tour?
We recommend arriving fifteen minutes prior to your scheduled helicopter tour. This will allow us enough time for us to check in and going through pre-flight with all passengers. The pre-flight addresses the safety issues and procedures when approaching the helicopter and while in the helicopter.
Is there a weight limit?
Yes, the Robinson R-44 has a limit of 300 lbs per seat. Seating arrangement is determined by the pilot based on the passengers' weights.
Can I talk to the pilot during the tour?
Yes, except during critical flight stages, such as take‐off and landing. You will be provided with a headset during flight that will allow you to hear the pilot and all other occupants. Please feel free to ask a question and engage with the others onboard. We provide inter‐communication between all occupants of the aircraft.
